Team Members
Katie Guise is a Junior at Hagerty High School, and this her 3rd year involved with the Hagerty Robotics program. She is the team hardware lead for Cyber Shock, and joined the robotics team in order to pursue an interest in STEM and learn a variety of design and communication skills. She would like to pursue a career in material science with a focus on medical applications. In addition to robotics, she also participates in competitive Public Forum debate.
Sharika Khondaker is a sophomore at Hagerty High School. This is her second year being part of the Hagerty Robotics team. She joined the team because she wants to pursue a career in engineering, and being part of the robotics program would help develop skills needed in the world on engineering. Currently, she works on the notebook, hardware and helps with the design process on the VEX team, but she also wants to be more proficient in CAD. Outside of Robotics, she is a writer for the school’s newspaper, The Blueprint. She loves to eat all kinds of food, but her favorite type is Chinese. Her favorite TV shows is The Office, closely followed by Parks and Recreation. One of her favorite things to do is to read, because she finds books very interesting. She is looking forward to working with the new members of the program and helping her team get to States!
Colin Voss is a junior at Hagerty High School. This is his third year on the Hagerty Robotics Team. He is the software lead for Cyber Shock. He joined the robotics team because he has an interest in learning about robots and thought it would be fun to reminisce over fifth grade when he first did robotics. He wants to pursue a career in engineering and enjoys doing robotics to develop skills needed for future careers. He loves all kinds of food. He loves to use computers and participate in competitive gaming.
Paul Handberg is a Junior at Hagerty High School. This is his second year on the Hagerty Robotics Team. He joined the robotics team because he is interested in the STEM field and its applications towards robotics. He hopes to learn about the construction and coding of robots to help with any future computer classes he will take. His interests include eating many kinds of food and participating in academic school clubs. He likes to participate in track. He is looking forward to helping his team and learning about the design and creation of robots.
